Kuglehupe (Kuglof)

Beautiful food with an ugly name

  • 300g butter
  • 275g sugar
  • 1 vanillin sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 375g plain flour
  • 12g baking powder
  • 20g cooking chocolade
  • icing sugar
  1. Beat the butter, sugar and vanillin until creamy, light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg one at a time, beating very well after each is added.
  3. Mix in the flour and baking powder.
  4. Pour 2/3 mixture into the prepared mould.
  5. In the remaindern mixture add melted chocolade, and combine two mixture together using fork.
  6. Bake in preheated oven 1 hour at 175’C.
  7. Remove from oven and dust with icing sugar.
